Paper size is not the printable area
Leave room for the limits of the printer and your layout.

A paper format describes the whole sheet. The printable area is the region the printer can mark under the selected settings. These two areas may differ.
Plan around the output
A page border close to the sheet edge can be clipped even when the paper dimensions are correct. Borderless modes may use different settings and can enlarge or crop the content. Check the printer’s own instructions for the chosen paper type.
Keep essential text inside a comfortable margin. For artwork that must reach the trimmed edge, ask the print provider for bleed and trim requirements before exporting.
