Accuracy

Dimensions are taken from published standards such as ISO 216, ISO 269, ANSI/ASME Y14.1, JIS P 0138 and DIN 476, and from manufacturer documentation where a size is device-specific. Millimetre values are the reference values. Inch, point, pica and pixel values are conversions and may be rounded for display; pixels additionally depend on the resolution you choose.

Although each page is checked against its source, paper standards, regional variants and printer firmware change. We cannot guarantee that every entry is free of error or that a size name means the same thing in every country. Verify critical dimensions against the standard or the printer's own documentation before printing at scale or ordering stock.

No professional advice

The content is general information, not legal, engineering or commercial advice. A paper size does not by itself confirm that a printer supports a sheet, weight or printable area. Check your device's media specifications.

Printing results

Printers apply unprintable margins, scaling and driver defaults that vary by model and operating system. A page that looks correct on screen may still print cropped or scaled. Always run a test print and confirm the document size, driver setting and loaded paper match.
