How Paper Size to Pixels Conversion Works

A pixel dimension depends on both the physical paper size and the chosen DPI (dots per inch).The formula is simple: multiply the size in inches by the DPI.

For example, A4 paper is 210 × 297 mm, which equals 8.27 × 11.69 inches. At 300 DPI: 8.27 × 300 = 2,480 pixels wide, 11.69 × 300 = 3,508 pixels tall.

Choosing the Right DPI
